Pain Management

The philosophy of Health Medicine is put into practice to address both acute and chronic pain conditions. Our team offers individualized programs based on integrative, holistic, person-centered and preventive healing. We listen to and care about our patients and see them as not merely a set of challenging symptoms, but in need of thoughtful and thorough support in mind, body and spirit.

The process begins with a complete health history and examination with our medical director, Len Saputo, M.D. A comprehensive treatment program is then proposed, targeted to your specific, clinical needs that is both effective and economical. This may include a number of the following modalities:

  • Somatic Bodywork

  • Movement Therapy

  • Nutrition Counseling

We also offer a Healing Circle at no additional charge. Healing circles are for individuals with challenging health issues who have tried a variety of approaches, and are not getting better. They consist of a one to two-hour meeting with our practitioners wherein a space is held for deep listening and caring.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is unique about this program?

We take the necessary time to understand and treat, not only your symptoms, but the underlying factors that drive your pain. This requires a deeper dedication on our part to be more comprehensive in our approach to resolving your health challenges.

How long does the program last?

This depends entirely on the individual nature of each case. It would not be possible or reasonable to take a “cookie cutter” approach. A general time frame would be based on seeing practitioners for a series of appointments scheduled over several months depending of the severity of the condition and the nature of the treatments.

How much does the program cost?

This too, depends on the individual nature of each case. We offer a variety of payment plans to give you options and discounts to meet your needs.

What are some of the conditions you treat?

• Diabetic Neuropathy
• Arthritis
• Migraines
• Back and Neck Pain
• Sports Injuries
• Fibromyalgia
• RSD
• Post Surgical Rehabilitation
• Shingles
